Nine years old today! And an incredible nine years it has been.
To thank you all for all your amazing support over the years and to help celebrate, we're giving away a £50 gift voucher which can be spent on anything in the Skein Queen online shop within the next year.
To enter, just leave a comment below. Make sure you enter your email address (it won't display publicly as long as you don't put it in the comment field) as well as your name so that I can contact the lucky winner.
We will draw a winner at random on 15th June and make the announcement here on the blog. The draw will also run across Instagram and Facebook, and the names will be pooled. One entry per person.

I recently bought some of your beautiful yarn and have just finished a cardigan, which I took to my knit 2together group tonight. Everyone thought the yarn was the softest and lightest they had ever felt and all wanted to know where it came from! I hope you will continue for another 9 years and more, producing such fantastic yarn in amazing colours, with such imaginative names. I love your shop updates and hope you will be going to unravel next year, where we can have the extra pleasure of squishing and squashing as well.

Happy birthday! Stumbling across Skein Queen whilst googling yarn last year late on a sleepless pain-filled night, you opened my eyes to the incredible world of hand dyed yarn and I’ve never looked back. SQ yarn is an absolute joy. I’m disabled and in constant severe pain after an accident five years ago that’s left me unable to walk or work anymore. Knitting is VERY important to me – it’s my own form of therapy, helping me to manage my pain and feel that, even though I spend the day sitting in a chair in my house, I’m still productive as I’m making something beautiful. I love your work and receiving my yarn club parcels is one of my absolute all time favourite things. Thanks for everything you do and here’s to the next nine years!
